After studying French language and literature at the UvA, Sylvia Massy started her career in the temporary employment sector, where she held various positions within the Randstad holding, from consultant to branch manager. Subsequently, she switched to KPN, where the then new product mobile telephony and data was brought onto the market. During this special period, she held national and international sales positions at KPN before returning as senior key account manager at Randstad Netherlands.
After a few years she took the step to entrepreneurship and together with a partner she led a training agency that specialized in developing market and customer focus within organizations, teams and individuals.
